PEACH AND NECTARINE ROOTSTOCKS

Bailey Originating out of Iowa. It has proven to be very cold hardy. It develops an abundant root system and is resistant to root lesion nematodes.

Controller 6 is a peach rootstock with medium vigor. It has moderate resistance to root knot nematode, low suckering, size control ability, and less wood from dormant and summer pruning.

Halford A Lovell type seedling that produces a standard size tree which is adaptable to a wide range of growing conditions. Compatible with all commercially grown varieties with good disease resistance.

Krymsk® 86 (USPP# 16272) Peach/plum hybrid. Tree size similar to Lovell. Tolerant to wet and heavy soils. Cold hardy and high PH tolerance. Precocious. Increases fruit size and yield with strong root system. Performs well on replant sites.

Lovell Produces a strong well anchored tree with resistance to bacterial canker. Tolerates cold and wet soils. Susceptible to nematodes in sandy soil. Bears fruit 2-3 years and grows to 15-18 feet.
